- 2242 (Nanaimo) originated in Duncan in 1948 and was sponsored by the 66th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment. With reorganization of the Army in 1954, it became sponsored by the Regiment’s ‘A’ Company (Duncan), then transferred to and was sponsored by Nanaimo in 1964. In 2001 sponsorship changed to the Royal Canadian Legion branch No. 257 (Lantzville).The Corps is affiliated to the Regiment.
